Stand-alone access control system RAK - operating units PCBs
RAK is a stand-alone access control system, which allows quick programming of operating-memory unit (RAK unit) using pushbuttons places right on the unit’s PCB. These buttons allow carrying out two basic tasks – to program identifiers into the unit’s memory (to create the database) and to erase the database saved in the unit’s memory. Other possibility of adding the users into the unit is Master key function. With these features the unit can be programmed on the place of its final installation. RAK unit is a simple access control system and does not support the even log options. RAK units are available in two different version – one is using proximity technology RFID (RAK BES) and the other one is using iButton technology (RAK DEK).

The printed circuit boards for RAK DEK do not include the iButton reader. The iButton reader can be ordered and then connected (soldered) to the PCB according to the technical manual.
